In regards to Korean culture, do you know of any schools/churches/establishments in the Flushing area that teach the Korean language?

Thanks for your comment! I wanted to respond sooner to your question. Here's what I know-- most Korean churches, particularly the larger ones, offer at least some Korean language classes, although usually to younger students from the Korean-American community, which generally tend to be more advanced. They do however, reach out to the larger population and offer more introductory level classes, and often the "tuition" if you want to call it that, is very affordable.
Otherwise, there are professional programs out there, that are more expensive, like those offered through the Korea Society.
